WOMEN FOUNDATION
BACKGROUND
The Women Foundation is a brain child of the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide and Dr. D.K. Olukoya and his wife Pastor Mrs. Shade Olukoya are the International Coordinators while we have the Regional Overseers’ wives as the head at the Regional level.
The Women Foundation is formed to cater for the overall welfare of all the women in Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.
OBJECTIVES
1. To bring women together in the spirit of unty, co-operation and love that would make them good ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. To train, develop and produce Holy Spirit filled women in leadership positions in all ramifications both in MFM and the society at large.
3. To teach women how to handle marital and spiritual problems in a godly manner.
4. To groom women on how to operate within the spiritual framework of their callings, help to develop their God-given potentials and to have a voice in their ministry.
MEMBERSHIP:
To be a member of Women Foundation, the following are required:
i. She must be a married women who must have dully filled and signed Women Membership form.
ii. Widows and single parents who have dully filled and signed Women Foundation membership form.
iii. She must be a regular attendance to the meetings and dues being paid up to date.
EXECUTIVE MEMBERS:
The executive members are to be elected into offices by the members of the Women Foundation with exemption of the pastors’ wives who are automatic members. The executive members are to serve four(4) years tenure. The executive members meet as deemed necessary by the leaders of the executives.
The executive offices are as follows:
1. The Leader:- She is the wife of the Regional Overseer as well as the overseer of the Women Foundation in general at regional level.
2. Assistant Leader:- She is to channel the affairs of the group in the absence of the leader.
3. General Secretary:- She is in charge of taking minutes of the meetings and keeping records of the activities of the group from time to time. She is to make sure that information met to reach out to members or other people are well disseminated accordingly.
4. Assistant General Secretary:- She takes up the duty of the General Secretary in her absence.
5. Financial Secretary:- She keeps all financial records of the Women Foundation and make sure that both income and expenditures are well recorded. She is also to collect monthly dues, levies and other related dues.
6. Assistant Financial Secretary(s):- She is to assist the Financial Secretary to carry out her duties.
7. Treasurer:- She is the one to keep all money belonging to the group.
8. Public Relation Officer:- She is the mouth piece of the group. She is in charge of receiving and giving out information to others outside the group internationally and locally.
9. Provost:- She is to make sure that things are done orderly during meetings.
MEETINGS:
The general meeting of the Women Foundation holds every first Sunday of the month.
OTHER MEETINGS:
Other meetings such as conferences, seminars, emergency meetings, workshops etc. should be communicated to the members as the need arises.
FINANCES:
All members are to pay a monthly contribution of five hundred naira (N500.00) while the executive shall contribute one thousand naira (N1, 000.00). Specific levies and contributions will be required from members from time to time for events such a sweddings, naming ceremonies, charity, burials, etc.
OPENING OF ACCOUNT:
The group shall open account as at when due. There shall be three (3) signatories to it namely: The Leader, Treasurer and Financial Secretary
WELFARE:
This aspect of women foundation shall be managed by the executive members or elected welfare committee members. They are to make sure that all beneficiaries are members whose membership is at least six (6) months with women foundation and their financial obligations are up to date......
