BRIEF HISTORY OF MFM SWXI REGION, APATA IBADAN

Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Apata branch was founded in the year 2000. The branch was carved out of the MFM, Levanter building, Dugbe Ibadan, becoming the third branch in Ibadan. Initially before its creation, we had MFM Dugbe and MFM Gbagi Ibadan. MFM Apata started out from a rented warehouse opposite the NNPC Depot, at NO1 Cele junction, Apata, Ibadan.
The first service of the branch was held in January 2000 and had an attendance of 19 members (Adult and children). The pioneering pastor of the branch was Pastor Isaac Adeyanju. He was later succeeded by Pastor Segun Kayode. Pastors Abiodun Odewale and Samuel Akowonlehin were also zonal Pastors when the branch became a Zonal Headquarter and the second Regional headquarters in Ibadan in April 2009 with Pastor Patrick Omokaro as the first Regional Overseer. The current Regional Overseer is Pastor Opeyemi Andrew who took over from Pastor Adeyinka Adejobi on th 8th of May, 2017.
MFM SWXI Region, Apata, had produced six other regions which are Oke-Ado (SW35) Region, Olomi (Sw34) Region, Apete (Sw33) Region, Challenge (SW66) Region, Eleyele (SW67) Region and Ring Road SW 86 Region.
Currently, MFM SWXI Apata Region has three Zones and nine Branches. The Region has bought a piece of land, constructed and currently occupies a well- structured church building with modern facilities. The region has the Children auditorium, Teenage church, Pastor Offices, a Conference hall and a modern Toilet for both Male and female.
The Regional Headquarter of MFM SWXI Apata Ibadan has a congregation of about one thousand five hundred members every Sunday service.
